“I served 13 years in the Marines as an MP. I was in the invasion of Iraq in ’03 and went back in ’04 for a second tour. I served as a Military Police Instructor and was a Platoon Sergeant after that. I’ve deployed all over the world and my youngest was born in Japan.
I have volunteered for multiple veteran aimed charities over the past few years and found a need to serve those who served. I have been very fortunate to serve with some good groups that do really good things for veterans. I have had the pleasure of Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to Fly Fishing in the valley the Rio Grande in New Mexico. I have made some really good friends during this travel across the world.
I have the three most amazing kids I could ever ask for and they keep me going. The fire inside me burns from the suicide of my brother in 2012. He was a Marine Veteran too; statistics say that 22 Veterans commit suicide each day. My goal is to bring that number down to 0. This organization is my way of giving back to the veteran and first responder community. There is a huge gap in the therapy options that veterans and first responders have to choose from.”
