P.J. KRATOHVIL | CO-FOUNDER

P.J. Kratohvil is a dedicated veteran and entrepreneur with a strong background in service and community engagement. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in October 2001, serving as a division MP and participating in various roles, including mounted and dismounted patrols, Generals JUMP team, and as a combat motorcycle operator. His military career spanned multiple tours, including two deployments to Iraq, after which he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.
Upon returning to Texas, P.J. transitioned into the construction industry, co-founding Complete Exterior Solutions with his wife of 18 years. Together, they built a thriving business, which they recently sold to allow P.J. to focus on his next chapter. This strategic move enables him to dedicate more time to the Therapeutic Recreation Group (TRG), a venture he co-founded with Robbie, a fellow veteran and longtime friend.
P.J. and Robbie served together for several years, sharing experiences that have shaped their vision for TRG. They are excited to leverage their combined expertise to serve veterans and first responders, providing meaningful support and opportunities through TRG’s initiatives.
Robbie Horne is a dedicated veteran and co-founder of the Therapeutic Recreation Group, driven by a deep passion for serving those who have served. He spent 13 years in the Marines as a Military Police Officer, participating in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and returning for a second tour in 2004. During his service, he held roles as a Military Police Instructor and Platoon Sergeant, deploying globally, including a stint in Japan where his youngest child was born.
Following his military career, Robbie has been actively involved with various veteran-focused charities, recognizing a critical need to support his peers. His travels have taken him from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to fly fishing in the Rio Grande Valley in New Mexico, forging lasting friendships along the way.
Robbie’s motivation is deeply personal, fueled by the loss of his brother, a fellow Marine veteran, to suicide in 2012. This tragedy underscores his commitment to reducing the alarming rate of veteran suicides, with the ultimate goal of bringing that number to zero. Through TRG, Robbie aims to bridge the gap in therapy options available to veterans and first responders.
Robbie’s distinguished military service has been recognized with several notable awards, including the Purple Heart, Navy Commendation Medal with a Combat “V” device, (2) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Combat Action Ribbon, Iraqi Campaign Medal (x4), Korean Defense Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (x4). His family, including his three children, remains a constant source of inspiration and motivation.
